Secondary School

At Cariad International School, we follow the UK National Curriculum in Key Stage 3, building students' knowledge and skills across a diverse range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), History, and Geography. Students also engage in creative subjects such as Music, Art, and Foreign Languages (French or Spanish) to ensure a well-rounded education. In line with our commitment to holistic development, secondary students will have two library sessions for reading and research, as well as two Physical Education classes to support their ongoing health and well-being.
  • Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14)

    Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)
    Following the strong foundations built in primary school, Key Stage 3 at Cariad International School provides students with a deeper understanding of core academic subjects while allowing them to develop independent thinking and critical analysis. The curriculum follows the UK National Curriculum, ensuring students gain essential knowledge and skills to prepare for IGCSEs and higher education.

  • Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16)

    In Key Stage 4, students begin the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), which provides a strong foundation for A-Levels and are internationally recognised qualifications .
